Refund policy

1. RETURN REQUEST PERIOD

We offer a 14-day return request period, in line with statutory consumer cancellation rights.

This means you’ll need to let us know that you’d like to return an item within 14 days of delivery.

Unfortunately, return requests received after 14 days can’t be accepted, except where required by law.


2. ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS

To be eligible for a return, all of the following conditions must be met:

  • The item is unused, unworn and unwashed

  • The item is in the same condition as received

  • All original tags, labels and seals are fully intact

  • The item is returned in its original packaging

  • You can provide valid proof of purchase

  • You’ve received written return approval from us

  • You’ve complied with the photo evidence requirement below

Items showing signs of wear, use, damage, odour, alteration, or handling beyond what’s reasonably necessary to inspect them won’t be accepted.


3. MANDATORY PHOTO EVIDENCE REQUIREMENT

Before we can approve any return, the customer must email clear photographs of the item to:

Please make sure the photos clearly show:

  • The full item

  • Tags, labels and seals intact

  • The overall condition

  • The original packaging (where applicable)

If suitable photo evidence isn’t provided, we may not be able to approve the return.

This step helps us prevent misuse and doesn’t affect your statutory rights if an item is faulty.


4. RETURN AUTHORISATION PROCESS

To request a return, simply email us with your request to:

Ensure pictures, order number and your details are included. 

If your return is approved, we’ll send you:

  • Written confirmation

  • Clear return instructions

  • A free return shipping label (where applicable)

Returns sent without approval, to the wrong address, or without following the process won’t be accepted and may be returned to you at your cost or disposed of without a refund.


5. DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE OR INCORRECT ITEMS

We recommend checking your order as soon as it arrives.

If you receive an item that is:

  • Faulty

  • Damaged

  • Incorrect

Please let us know without undue delay and before use, and include clear photos so we can look into it properly.

If we’re not notified promptly, it may limit our ability to investigate. This doesn’t affect your statutory rights for faulty goods.


6. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

While we’d love to help wherever possible, we’re unable to offer returns or refunds for the following items, except where required by law:

  • Personalised or custom-made items, including embroidery or designs chosen by you

  • Face masks, beauty products or personal care items once opened or unsealed, for hygiene reasons

  • Perishable goods, including (but not limited to) confectionery or alcohol

  • Gift cards

  • Final sale or discounted items

Please take a moment to review product descriptions carefully before placing your order.


7. EXCHANGES

We do offer exchanges.

If you’d like to exchange for another item, the quickest option is to:

  1. Submit an eligible return (subject to approval)

  2. Let us know which product you would like to exchange with. Notify us via email (mamasocialcub1@gmail.com).

8. UK & EU STATUTORY CANCELLATION RIGHTS

If you’re a consumer in the UK or European Union, you have a statutory right to cancel your order within 14 days of delivery, without giving a reason, unless a legal exemption applies (such as personalised items or hygiene-sealed goods once opened).

To cancel:

  • Please notify us in writing within 14 days

  • Items must be returned in line with Sections 2–4 above

Return postage is your responsibility unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

If an item has been used more than necessary to inspect it, a reduction in the refund may apply, as permitted by law.


9. REFUNDS

Once we receive and inspect an approved return, we’ll let you know the outcome.

If approved:

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method only

  • Refunds are processed within 10 business days

Please note that banks and payment providers may take additional time to process the refund.

10. REJECTED RETURNS

If a return is rejected:

  • We will explain why it has been rejected

  • No refund will be issued

  • We may return the item to you at your cost or dispose of it without further notice
